Clark & Associates offer a panel of three Child Experts for Child-Inclusive and Child-Focussed Mediations.

Sophie Jordan 

Sophie is a Clinical Psychologist, Family Report Writer, a Nationally Accredited Mediator, an Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) and Triple P provider. She holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and Postgraduate Diploma of Professional Psychology. She has a lengthy background in family separation work. Sophie provides services with Clark & Associates as a child expert or FDRP in Child-Inclusive Mediations, and as a FDRP in Parenting Mediations.

Hollie Thompson 

Hollie holds specialist post graduate qualifications in both psychology and education and has worked with children and young people for over 10-years. Hollie is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland, and a registered teacher.

Hollie brings extensive expertise gained while working in child-focused settings, as well as having worked in the education and psychology sector for the past decade. Hollie has a special interest in finding solutions for challenging circumstances.  Hollie’s is a trusted provider of Family Reports for the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia.

Laura Dodds

Laura is a Family Consultant and Social Worker. She holds a Master of Social Work and has over 16 years' experience working as a Social Scientist with children, young people and families.

Laura consults to Clark & Associates as a Child Expert in our Child-Focussed and Child-Inclusive Family Dispute Resolution mediations, supporting families while they plan parenting arrangements for their children that are developmentally appropriate and neurologically informed.

In addition to her consultancy work at Clark & Associates, Laura is appointed as a Child Expert Witness for the Family and Federal Circuit Court and regularly undertakes Family Reports to assist families and the Court to identify children’s needs and best interests in a post-separation context. Laura is also a sessional academic, teaching Social Work at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
